How to Set Up BritishStream on Amazon Fire TV Stick
The Amazon Fire TV Stick is one of the most popular streaming devices in the UK, and it works brilliantly with BritishStream. This guide walks you through installing a compatible player app and signing in with the details we send you after your order is confirmed.

What You'll Need
- An Amazon Fire TV Stick (any recent generation) plugged into your TV's HDMI port
- A stable Wi-Fi connection — around 15 Mbps or faster is recommended
- Your BritishStream subscription details, sent to you on WhatsApp after ordering
- About 10 minutes of setup time
Step-by-Step Setup

Open the Amazon Appstore
From the Fire TV home screen, select the search icon and look for a compatible IPTV player app. BritishStream will recommend a specific app when we send your setup details.

Install the player app
Select the app and choose Download or Get. The app installs in under a minute on most connections.

Open the app and choose sign-in
Launch the app from Your Apps & Channels. Most player apps ask you to sign in with a username, password and server address, or a playlist link.

Enter your BritishStream details
Type in exactly the details we sent you on WhatsApp. Details are case-sensitive, so copy them carefully.

Start watching
Once signed in, the channel list and on-demand library load automatically. Use the app's guide view to browse live TV.
Troubleshooting
The app can't find my details
Double-check spelling and capitalisation of the username, password and server address. If it still fails, message us on WhatsApp and we'll verify your details.
Streams keep buffering
Restart the Fire TV Stick, move your router closer or use 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and test your speed. A wired Ethernet adapter is also available for Fire TV Stick.
The app crashed or froze
Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications, select the app, then choose Force Stop and Clear Cache before reopening it.
