- A Samsung Smart TV running Tizen (most models from 2017 onwards)
- The TV connected to your home internet, ideally by Ethernet or strong Wi-Fi
- Your BritishStream subscription details from WhatsApp
Step-by-Step Setup
- 1
Open Samsung Apps
Press the Home button on your remote and navigate to Apps.
- 2
Search for a compatible player app
Use the search icon to find the player app recommended in your BritishStream setup message. Availability of specific apps can vary by TV model and region.
- 3
Install and open the app
Select Install, then open the app once installation finishes.
- 4
Sign in with your details
Enter the login or playlist details we sent you. Some apps ask you to activate via a website on your phone — follow the on-screen instructions.
- 5
Load your channels
The app downloads the channel list and on-demand library. This can take a minute on first launch.
Troubleshooting
The app isn't in Samsung Apps
App availability varies by model year and region. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll suggest an alternative app or a low-cost streaming stick as a fallback.
The picture stutters
Use an Ethernet cable if possible, or move the TV closer to the router. Also check no other device is saturating your broadband.
