What You'll Need

  • An LG Smart TV running webOS (most models from 2016 onwards)
  • An internet connection — Ethernet or strong Wi-Fi
  • Your BritishStream subscription details from WhatsApp

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. 1

    Open the LG Content Store

Press the Home button and select the LG Content Store from the launcher bar.

  2. 2

    Find a compatible player app

Search for the player app named in your BritishStream setup message. App availability can vary by webOS version.

  3. 3

    Install and launch

Select Install, then open the app.

  4. 4

    Enter your subscription details

Sign in with the credentials or playlist link we sent you, following the app's on-screen prompts.

  5. 5

    Enjoy your content

The live channel list and on-demand library will load and you're ready to watch.

Troubleshooting

Can't find the app in the Content Store

Check your TV's firmware is up to date (Settings → Support → Software Update). If the app still isn't available, message us — a streaming stick is an inexpensive workaround.

Login keeps failing

Re-enter the details carefully — they are case-sensitive. If it persists, we'll re-verify your subscription on WhatsApp.

Common Questions

Does this work on LG OLED TVs?
Yes — LG OLED and NanoCell models running webOS are compatible, subject to app availability for your webOS version.
